what's next after submitting DS-230 to NVC?

hello guys! in my behalf, my husband mailed the completed DS-230 forms together with our marriage certificate, by birth certificate and that of my son, NBI clearance and 2x2 photos to NVC. what happens after this? what notification will i receive next from NVC and how long will it take before our case is completed? They will review all the documents that they have received and then will notify you that the Case is complete. You will then be allocated a interview date.
