Hi,

I sent my application to Nebraska but it was transferred to California. I received a notice stating that it would be transferred to California. And I think I should be receiving one stating that the application was received by CSC. Sorry, I know i word things a little funny and make everything more confusing.

OK,

It wouldn't hurt if he brought all of the notices--just in case. It does not seem to me that it would be a big problem if was missing some notices---- but I do not know for sure. In my case, when I had doubts about whether to send something, I sent it anyway. But not before I made a couple of copies of it first !

Alot depends on the country. If you have them I would send anything you got from the center, just in case!! If for some reason you lost one of them i wouldnt worry about, from what I have heard it wont be a problem. Your fiancee definitly should have NOA1 and NOA2 though.

We made copies of NOA1, NOA2, and letter from NVC and took them. Mind as well print those notices out of copy them and bring the copies to the interview.

After your petition is approved you should receive what is called the NOA2. (notice of action). That will be sent from the service center processing your petition. That service center will forward the approved petition to the national service center who will then forward it to the appropriate embassy or consulate. That embassy or consulate will send you what is called packet 3 which consist of the forms you will need to take to the interview. Once you have gotten all that done and followed the instructions in packet 3 and returned the required paperwork to the embassy, you will recieve packet 4 which will schedule you for your medical and interview. As some one else said check the Canadian forum as they will have specifics on how it is handled there.
