I drink them professionally. I have a mini-fridge full of green monster drinks. I drink them every morning at approximately 5:30 AM. I need to keep focus to read few news media. Afterwards, head for work. In the afternoon, when I get home, I grab another one so I will not be tired.

However, on the weekend. I refuse to drink them. Do a little walking and jogging. Too much of the monster drink may increase my chance of becoming a diabetic type 2. Therefore, to reduce the amount of sugars in my bloodstream, I do a good full hour of walking and jogging on the weekend. No coffee, or monster drinks. But, tea. No sugars in the tea, it does have caffiene.

Then, my routine starts over.

I would rather my hubby drink coffee but he is really picky about his coffee..

the only kind he liked was slow roast Maxwell house coffee but they don't sell that in stores anymore... I have tried a million other kinds but he doesn't like any of them :P

Red Bull Has Competition From Anti-Energy Drink Company, Slow Cow!

07_SlowCow.jpg

Energy drinks might be all the rage, but not everyone wants an instant pick me up; or rather, there are just some people that shouldn't have one. With this in mind, a new company has created the anti-energy drink to help tone down the hyperactive.

Slow Cow is the exact opposite of the energy drinks that cause hyperactivity, anxiety and the jitters. The anti-energy drink contains ingredients like theanine, chamomile, valerian, passiflora and other ingredients known for their calming effects. Slow Cow promises to help people destress and relax, while increasing mental awareness at the same time.

And yes it's true; the Canadian company is taking a dig at their top energy drink competitor with their creative name!

I don't like buying em - I make some homebrew instead - strong green tea with liquid B vitamins. I don't notice the taste, but it might turn off some ppl.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Most of them are gross to me. They don't seem to get me any energy. I can drink before bed and still go right to sleep. Though i'll pee in the night.

No can do. Caffeine makes my heart do bad things.

Caffeine messes with my stomach. I can tolerate a Coke here and there, but one cup of coffee will mess up my stomach for a week.

Its acidic and acts as a laxative. Not good if you have any sort of gastrointestinal problem.
