Can my congresswoman help me get an expedited interview?

Unlikely. There are few reasons for an expedited process. You would have to have a clear cut reason for it to be considered and from my understanding Senators and Representatives have next to no influence at the Consulate level which is where interviews are scheduled. Military expedites seem to be the only reason I have seen anyone successfully get an expedited process.

As kathryn said, unless you meet expedite criteria then no.

Unfortunately there are bunch of people who got their before you, so it's another case of stand in line.

The visa process is sucky that way.

Exactly. If you have an acceptable reason for an expedite you don't need a congressperson's help getting it. If you don't, they'll probably laugh after they tell you no.
