When i said my new I-129 i meant the RFE..sorry for the confusion.

I was transfered from Nebraska to California and never got an e-mail then either. I'm just wondering how to know if your "touched" if you get no e-mails even though I signed up to get them.

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

Touching is when your status is updated on the web site where you signed up for your email notification.

Touching could be anything from them starting the process of approval, or just someone moving your file from one desk to another and anything in between. It is just nice to see the date change as at least you know they are doing something to your file. Could be bad could be good. In my opinion any touch is good, at least you havent been lost in the black pit of CSC.

I am at Day 106 and getting very anxious as well. They received my RFE back on 7/11 and no e-mails or touches. But I have never had a touch except to tell me an RFE was mailed on 6/23 and that occured 10 days later.

I am going to my congressman for help at this point. I am in the NCIC database with the FBI because I had an identity theft and the theif used my identity as an alias and has warrants for him. So due to me being a victim of ID theft, I could get screwed again and end up in Security Check Purgatory.

Need positive energy. I have to believe there will be lots NOA2's popping out soon from CSC.....

Normally they don't send email notices for anything aside from big news like they transferred your petition to another service center or they sent an RFE. And even then, they sometimes send 17 copies of the same email (often jumbling words and incomplete sentences so there is no way to understand the meaning) or none at all.

Otherwise, you should be checking for touches on the online site - when you see the "last updated" change, you will know you were touched.
