I'm at 106 days right now. But their timeline is 90-180 days when you first recieved your NOA1. So we still have plenty of waiting. I'm more optimistic usually but this game has made me a pessimist. Why is it that people can just run over the border and us honest people have to wait and wait.

That RFE was basically a tiny questionairre which of course i sent back but to me, if that's all they asked of me, then we should be near getting approved. I am at 119 days tomorrow. The times vary wildly and I wouldnt put much stock in dates given. Current estimates are up to 180 days but many come in sooner. Between IMBRA delay, and now all the Neb and Tex people at CSC hard to tell what the wait will be. We have been told that Home Land Security has informed immigration that they need to speed up the process but what that will mean to us is unknown. Hope you have shorter wait than we have.

I signed up to get e-mail notices and have yet to get any!! I got an e-mail saying that i signed up but nothing else.

I sent back my new I-129 form over a week ago and I got a confirmation they rcvd. it but no e-mail, should I be worried I havn't gotten anything about anything??

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

What do you mean your new I-129 form? Do you mean you sent back the RFE?

Also, normally they don't send email notices for anything aside from big news like they transferred your petition to another service center or they sent an RFE. Otherwise, you should be checking for touches on the online site.

I think when we first checked our online status with NOA1, CSC informed us that the waiting period for the I-129F application was up to 90 days, and we were conditionally approved on our 64th day. I didn't know they give different waiting periods for the same type of application. Could be a case to case basis then. I hope everybody gets approved soon :)

sorry I misunderstood that you sent a new 129f. If you are sure they received it then you should get you NOA1 in the mail soon.....not sure about the email notice except to say make sure you are set up for email notices through the USCIS website.

Oh William33, did you just edit your reply here? I was about to respond to your comment. I'm sorry about my timeline here, I can't access it anymore to put some changes. I don't know why it won't accept my email address, so I am sorry about that. My date of NOA1 was 5/5/2006.

I should give credit to my fiance on how he prepared our documents for the I-129F. We provided them all they needed from us and it was prepared like an immigration lawyer would prepare it. He showed it to me and it was very neat and organized. It's because he works with lawyers and is into researching.

Did you follow the tips for preparing the documents to be submitted? Also, a very good cover letter would pretty much be of advantage. So thanks to my fiance (L)

I did edit, because I completely misunderstood your application process. I went for the straight up I-129-F, major delays and all. My docs are in order, I am confident of that.

I was just curious of the application process you all submitted, rather confusing to me. Any Insight?

You mean my I-212 application? I filed it ahead of I-129F. It is a type of waiver. It was declared in our I-129F application and vice versa. We don't have any approval for that yet as it takes longer processing, but we do hope they approve that too :)

Many of us received an email that said our "processing time will be less than the maximum stated". 120 days is the maximum right? So that puts me around July 22 as 120 days. Am I understanding this email right? Seems they must expect approvals soon. I know some are over 120 days.

Shouldn't we be factoring BUSINESS DAYS not just days. That would put you at 64 days, not over 120, for example, and me around 76 days. Of course if they actually work on Saturdays as the rumor we would be a little further along.

March 9 - filed I-129F to Nebraska

March 15 - NOA#1

June 1 - transferred to CSC

July 11 - IMBRA RFE back with CSC

August 3 - NOA#2

August 6 - touched
