Hello,

I would like to ask if a first time US passport and crba holder needs to secure an exit permit from the Bureau of Immigration?

If yes, how long does it take to get the exit permit? Can they release it on the same day it was filed? And how much is the filing fees, etc. ?

I would appreciate your response on these inquiries.

Thank you.

Yes . I had my CRBA a year ago and we paid for the exit permit which i think (forgot na) 1600 and it will be released same day you apply for it.

When i was at the airport they told me you can get the exit permit from the airport ..you don't have to get it from the BID office(just call and make sure)...pls..make sure as i forgot na tlga.you can call BID or check their website.

If the tickets were bought in the US the adults pay P1620 PTA travel tax. Kids cost P810.

You can pay at the airport or at your local PTA office.

yup its needed, but if you are not in a hurry why dont you get your baby a Phil. Passport,

thats what I did for my son and they didnt look for an exit permit!

Hi my daughter has a Phil passport and K3 petition just got approved (I-129 returned to USCIS from NVC while on I-30 we received letter from NVC containing the ds3032) does she need CRBA b4 going to US or we can do tht on US?

got another question about I-130, if we decided to go to CR1 route do i need to file separate I-130 for each kid? i declare my son on k3/k4 n update USEM on our new born daughter(NVC already receive her Birth Cert.) or i can just call them for update of my i-130 petition?

thanks

ruby_jade is right.Get your baby a Phil.passport so he/she dont need exit permit anymore.Having a Phil.passport makes your baby dual citizen,,just show ur baby's 2 passports at NAIA,they will not ask for exit permit anymore coz they already know once they see ur baby has 2 passports (US and Philippine)

Even if you will not apply for CRBA for ur new born baby,at the time of ur interview,,the consul will hold the release of ur visa and he/she will tell u to do CRBA..so yea..ur new born daughter need to go through CRBA because she is automatic US citizen.all you have to do is do the step-by-step CRBA process.don't worry,it doesn't take long as long that you have all the documents on the checklist, just organize it and let FedEx to pick it up and send to ACS-USEM.

Good luck!!!!
