You got the make up part Icey. Both my SO and I are stubborn, so we have to be careful cause we both can go off on each other. Being apart he gets pissy and wants to trash the PC in person he is quiet, and I am pretty much the same.

Because we are apart, when she's upset she gets quiet and cold over the phone. I tend to be confrontational which makes matters worse. Then I have to figure what it is I've done wrong now. Usually when I let her just take her time, she comes to her senses, but when it's something that's really bothering her, she'll be silent and cold for awhile. That's when I have to frantically guess what's bothering her.

I can handle her being angry as long she expresses it - tells me that she's angry. But when she just goes silent and expects me to read her mind - that drives me nuts, literally! :wacko:

We are both stubborn, I want want I want, he want's what he wants, so we argue, ect.... He usually ends up doing what he wants, I do what I want, or if he wants to go to do something I usually try to support him in the end, and vice versa, although it's a long haul getting there.

:P That's just a woman for you. Why should we tell you what is wrong? You are supposed to know!

I must say being apart, I am guilty of doing what she is doing to you. I would just rather not discuss it, when I don't feel it would do much good. It's the distance and it plays hell on a normal relationship. "It's not the intent but the impact", found this statement to be so true throughout our seperation. Some things just can not be dealt with well when you are not looking each other in the eye, seeing body language etc. We eventually get it all out in the open, cry, yell (he never yells but I sure do), whatever it takes, then hang up with an I love you talk to you tomorrow.
