well im planning to go visit my husband after ramadan ends. Will me visiting the embassy myself help any???

Per my previous post:

...

3. Plan a trip to see you SO, AND let the embassy KNOW (via email) you are planning a trip and ask them when a good time to come and visit with someone there is.

4. When you receive confirmation from either the embassy or DOS that your email has been received email the embassy again giving them TWO possible dates for your visits

Definitely it helps for you to visit the embassy, it's another way to show a bonafide relationship.

Hi, havent been around for a while. Please anyone give me some info or advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband had his interview at the consulate in jerusalem on JUNE 23, 2009, the co told him everything was fine but they just needed a "no tax letter" from me the petitioner.

The embassy receives the letter a few weeks later, and on JULY 17, 2009, the embassy called my husband and asked him a variety of questions, they asked him questions such as:

What is you mothers name?

fathers name

sisters names

what do you work

have you ever been out of the country

and they also asked for his haweeya number

The embassy told my husband that they received the letter that was requested after the interview and that they are just going to review his papers one more time and it will take from 1-3 months for them to call him back for his passport.

2 days ago i just received a letter in the mail from the embassy saying (this case is complete but needs additional administrative processing and they will call us as soon as it is complete)

I called DOS and the case is in washinton in AP.

My question is why did they send the case to washington and put him in ap if they already called him and got all their information??????????? He has no criminal record or ANything out of the ordinary, they already questioned him when they called him!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have any experience, ideas anything, how long can we expect to wait in ap for???? Will it be just like the embassy told my husband when they called him, 1-3 months. And the paper they sent me says that they have completed the case but just needs additonal processing. AND his name is MOHAMMED, common. So how long can we expect to wait for, please anyone help!!

Just give you little comfort that my Husband name is Mohammad and he was told the same thing 1-3 month . Again ap time frame is different for each person or each file but my husband got his visa after two weeks . Just pray pray and pray . good luck inshallah it will be good . i am not sure about your country but pakistan embassy is doing a good job lately

they did the same thing to us, i even have a thread about it.http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=224826&hl=

i was paranoid when they called and asked for all this. i figured it was because they wanted to see if everything added up and if we were being honestly, luckily we have nothing to hide! two days after the call i received an email and a letter in the mail saying we are in AP :(
