POE Questions

Hello everyone,

My wife will be traveling here on tuesday night, and her POE will be Guam. For those people who have already traveled to the US, what are some of the things my wife should expect upon first time POE into the US? What kind of questions will they ask her? How long does it normally take? I'm concerned because she only has a 90 minute layover, then she needs to depart for her connecting flight. I want her to be prepared so that she can go through quickly. Also, if she is traveling with our US citizen son, can she get into the US citizen line at the POE or should she go through non US citizens line? I hope my questions can be answered. Thanks everyone! :)

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

I had my POE in Houston and was there for more 30 minutes I guess but I wasn't worried at all because I have a 4 hours lay over which I requested my fiance ( now husband ) to do in buying my plane ticket that time. Mine was very crowded, had to stand in line but they will just ask very simple questions, then you will be assisted to the Immigration Office and submit the brown envelop. All they've told me there was I have 90 days to get married then I'm done. But I case it all depends with the Immigration officer, some stayed long, some don't so all I can say is, when she's done she must proceed right away to her next flight..

Good Luck!!!

For CR/IR. Main thing is be sure they stamp the I-551 in the passport. Sometimes they screw up and don't.

K visas get the I-94 signed with A#

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Been on Guam 3 time not bad at all standard Q&A"s, as I'v been told. She can not go in the US line My wife's POE is HNL (Hawaii) then over to Maui I'v been told standard time 3hours maybe a bit long but she may have re-check her Bags ie connecting flight, I know my wife will.
