We get Fox, but I don't think I have ever seen Beck advertised or referenced which is why I wondered if there were different programs for the dish/cable users.

Well, I think the implication was 'pay to view' as apposed to terrestrial. I only have terrestrial, I don't watch tv enough to justify paying for anything else.

I'm not sure but I think you only get a few regular networks on terrestrial - NBC, ABC, CBS perhaps. I'd sooner have that than what we have - people bitched about the 100 quid annual licence fee in the UK, but I'm paying $100 month for satellite - and that's without "Premium Channels".

You really do get ripped for what you get.

Wow! You are getting ripped! Switch satellite providers and you should get everything for under $30 a month, at least for the first 6 mos or more. Everytime I threaten to switch to Dish Network, DirecTV switches me back to the promotional rate.

Yeah I'm thinking about doing that. Its getting to be a lot of cash - don't know why they can't keep the promotional rate as the "permanent rate". $100 a month is a ripoff.

Some of the people here seem to hang on the words of these commentators and find relativistic arguments to justify outrageous things that they say. I don't think anyone is best served by presenting any of these talking head types as a figurehead for their own beliefs.

I don't think he's dangerous in the sense that his ####### is convincing or persuasive, its that he seems very good at whipping up mob fury among those who do buy into it.

If people are acting on what he says and causing civil unrest, then its not that much different from the guy who shouts "fire" and causes a panic. I'm not so sure that's the case at the moment.
