It's sad stories like this that makes me glad that I buy my airline tix online directly from the airline. Cathay Pacific has never let me down. If I pay a little more, then so be it. They have been very good to me when I have to cancel and refund my ticket at the last minute. There is no free lunch! Pay up or get ripped off.

Same here, I fly Cathay Pacific, never had a complaint.....

Thanks, Vj friends. As you can see it took time for me to post this story. I really didn't want to post this ####### in here and be reminded of the experience. But, I feel helpless. I know some could help me.

Almost all your ideas are possibly right. My family is thinking that Xylide is a part of it. But, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Ok...here is another part of the story.

When we were given our confirmation letters, Xylide and her daughter were reserved for the business class and I was for economy. I was kinda' envious as I paid more than she paid. But, I accepted the fact that I only paid for an economy seat and I would be fine. And so when she asked me to call the agency, yes, LMT is the name of the agency, located at megaplaza in front of Robinson's galleria, UG19 is the UNIT. I thought WE were waiting for our tickets. Then she told me that she cancelled her ticket because she wasn't reserved for the SAID business class seats. Ok, fine. I still had the faith. We met twice, 1st time was when we bought the tickets and we went shopping at megamall for some pasalubong and I didn't feel that something was fishy. I don't know if we're both screwed up or I was the only victim in this scamming game.

I am giving her the benefit of the doubt and I'm also waiting for her other side of the story. I don't want to backfight or be libelous, so I'm still watching my words. I'm mad because of this but who knows the real story. What I only want is that I get the money back and that agency to be closed and will never trust someone I just met online aside from my spouse. cool! I'm glad my hubby is so supportive of me and very understanding of the situation.

I'm not surprised anymore since Xlyde disappeared and you can't get hold of her anymore. Lesson learned. Do not trust anybody you just met when it comes to money. I have a feeeling that -- never mind. Can't help myself.

:-( I'm really mad about it all the time. Instead of being worry-free bcause my husband and I are now together, I'm filled with anger and regrets...i wish i wish i wish.... so many wishes i have in mind.

I would be mad also, i can only imagine what u went through at the airport, I also talk to XYLIDE once in a while ..

And maybe, she is a bit relaxed that no action is being taken aside from my parents going to imbestigador and waiting for the result. what do you guys suggest? What should we do about this? hey i just saw Xylide she was online in vj on the 19th august and she will congrats lot of people in philippines section, u might wanna send her the PM and see if she answer and i read her poe was houston and she updated her time line. abby

And maybe, she is a bit relaxed that no action is being taken aside from my parents going to imbestigador and waiting for the result. what do you guys suggest? What should we do about this?
