I'm a US citizen and I want to move back home. We live in the UK right now (but I'm not here legally). My daughter is 15 and not a US citizen. She also has a daughter.

I know I have to file I-130 and then 1-485 for my daughter, but I'm confused about my grand-daughter.

If I petition for my daughter does her daughter get derivative status?

I've read that if you're filing for an adult child then their children can get derivative status but I can't find any information on the children of a minor child.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

How can your daughter not be a US citizen? Did you have her before you became a USC or what?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
