Great Britain's hair is so pretty.

I would have said Canada, prolly cuz my hubs is from there, but in all good consciousness, I cannot vote for someone whose national costume makes her look like a cross between a grape and a Vegas showgirl. Seriously, how is that representative of Canada???

They are all incredibly beautiful. At this point, it will take more than beauty to win because there would be no way to decide who was the most beautiful.

How does a country enter a contestant? My poor husband's little insignificant country doesn't even have a representative.

It seems to be a trend. I had a look at China's, the Czech Republic's, Ghana's, Greece's, and the US and Canada's. The only ones that looked remotely like national costumes were Greece's and the US's. It seems to be some sort of Haut couture thing rather than representative of the country's history and culture. Go figure. It would be so much more interesting if they went the other way. IMO.

I didn't look at all the national costumes, but from what I saw, it seemed the Latin countries had more representative costumes.
