My wife’s green card was expired on 8/10/2009 after two years. We filed for I751 5/22/09, biometrics on 06/06/09. She didn’t receive the extension letter! Her drive license will expire on 10/10/09 what should we do? She needs the green card to renew her drive license or the extension letter.

That's unusual - no NOA1/Extension Notice but did get the biometrics NOA.

Definitely would call/make an infopass appointment.

you mean we should receive the extention letter before the biometrics? I thought we should receive an extention letter after the biometrics is done.

I have an infopass for tomorrow.

Extension letter is usally first and them the BIO appointment. Yes you should have received this letter of extension alredy. Hopefully she can get a stamp at the infopass in order to renew her DL. Please let us know how it goes :D

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

I had the same thing happen. USCIS won't have any info as they can't check until you get the number that comes with the biometric appointment. They will do a service request but

I called my senator and his immigration specialist got it moving.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

You need to go to Infopass appt.

I do not think that your I-751 got lost, because you got biometrics appt, but something feels fishy.

It is best to verify with USCIS that your application is in and recognized by the system. As well, you can ask for I-551 stamp in place of the I-751 receipt/extension.

Extension letter is usally first and them the BIO appointment. Yes you should have received this letter of extension alredy. Hopefully she can get a stamp at the infopass in order to renew her DL. Please let us know how it goes :D

No this is not the extension letter. I do not have a copy handy but it states that your GC is exteneded for 1 year.

Also contact a senator to help get this to you ASAP. Or make an Infopass.

I first receive the extention letter then the biometrics schedule.

The 1st I-797C, Notice of Action:

- with the receipt number (WAC#)

- reference number (A#)

- and it is written like this: Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one-year extension you are authorized employment and travel. (This extension and authorization for employment and travel does not apply to you if your conditional resident status has been terminated.)

You do need to make an infopass. Good Luck.

This is not the extension letter. The service centers have started sending out reminder letters to those needing to file the I-751. It seems odd to me that you have already sent in your ROC application and you know they got it because you got the biometrics appt (and you did keep that appt. right?) yet their files are saying you have yet to file the I-751.

Definitely keep the infopass, take with you any proof that you have that USCIS received your I-751 (ROC) package (if you sent it certified, signature required with USPS you should have this), a copy of your biometrics letter (with completion stamp), plus a copy of the new reminder letter. If it were me, I would also take my copy of the complete I-751 package that I sent in.

If you have already left for the infopass, then good luck!

Hey everybody. I'm also getting ready to file for removing condition. I'm a little confused though, not sure what stuff I have to send in. Last night I read some posts over here and people where talking about co-signers. Last time we filed for AOS we had a co-signer because we are both students and our income was not sufficient. Today we are still students and I would assume that our income is still not sufficient, however, the I-751 does not ask for financial evidence. Could anyone please help me on this one?
