Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

PMSL...thanks for that one..I have a multi table poker tournament to play tonight..i am sure that song will go down well with the Brits when I start singing it..perhaps i can use that to distract them and win their money?? lol

LJ

 Good luck with that, if you win remember who helped you out!

Where do i send your share?? lol...i was thinking of wearing something a bit risque as well...found out that i am the only female playing...the guy last night had some nerve trying to explain to me how to play texas holdem....i waited until he was done to tell him that i have just won 4 mtts in a row and that i ranked #2 in our poker league and that is with 150 ppl in it! He just said ooooooo right...ok then.. see you tomorrow..THE NERVE!!! THe sun will be shining somewhere not so nice if the rest of the men are the same. My hubby just looked at him like...man you have no idea who u are dealing with lol.

I will be thinking of you now as I am sat there singing YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE...in my best American accent pmsl...

LJ

 Wishing you much luck!

I will have you know that I was doing really well. There were three tables of 9. I managed to outplay my table and get moved to another one. Three hands and I was out. GRRRRRRRRRR...My last hand was great..I had a pair of kings. Went all in to be called. The guy had ####### and knew it. BUT HE STILL BEAT ME lol..Yes I sang that song and I was a hit lol. They kept calling me lil lady and started talking with a southern twang. Most of them couldn't understand what an American was doing in the Midlands of all places lol. I even outplayed my hubby. He had to sit there for 2 hours watching ME play lol. You know what they say...next time kid...

Love is not an EMOTION or FEELING....

That if made from the heart...will outlast ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!!!!

LOL...glad I can amuse you pmsl! It was a good time actually. The guys were brilliant and actually quite lovely under their rough exterior. That was the first time Ian and I had ever gone to this place so of course it was a whole different crowd to what we are use to. When I first walked in I was so intimidated. When they drew the tables that we would be playing at, I was so lost when Ian was sent to a different table than me. It was funny, because you aren't suppose to talk in another language other than English at these casinos and particularily the card rooms, but these two men were talking across the room in Pakastinian(?) and one guy at my table said ENGLISH ONLY PLEASE! That was when I spoke up and said well I can speak American if you like. LMFAO...He couldn't understand what I said!!! He asked me like twice to repeat myself. Then said that he could understand the other two men better than he understood me!! So that was the ice breaker and found the guys to be teddy bears under all that ruggedness..They loved it that I sang. Even asked my husband if we could come back and play again. THey have these mtts every Wenesday evening. The guys at my table were even upset when I went out!! Got any other songs I should sing?? lol..
