hey my wife already has the seat corfirmed and E ticket in hand, and she will have boarding pass before she enters the airport. she is carrying no check in luggage at all, only carrying in small bag. i do know that she has to pay the airport fee but my question is what else does she have to do at the airport? does she still check in with the airline counter or not? or anything she has to do at the airport? any input will be greatly appreciate. thank u in advance. abby n sheryl

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

As soon as she walks in [to her left] there's a PTA counter where she pays the P1620 tax [if applicable]. She then goes to the counter of the airline she's flying with and gets her boarding pass.

Walks towards the gate and pays the P750 terminal fee on her way to the gate.

If she's not checking any baggage at all and already has her boarding pass then all she would do is is walk towards her gate, pay the P750 terminal fee and continue to her gate number and present her boarding pass when they start to board the plane approx. 30 mins prior to departure. That's it. good luck.

When we flew back on Hawaiian Air last month they required us to go to the checkin counter. Wouldn't allow me to use online printed out boarding passes.

She still needs to check with the airline counter even if she got an e-ticket. they will issue new boarding passes sometimes, not print outs. It is better to approach the counter before going to the immigration so they can advise her on what to do and fees she still needs to pay. have a safe trip.

Forgiveness is not saying what someone did to us is right. It is saying, "I'll let God straighten this out"..

Printing out the boarding pass does not work as explained above. The reason is simple, the airline counter people will confirm the PTA fee and send you back to get that. If she does not hav ethe fee paid then immigration sends her back to get it.

yes, i agree.. nothing wrong with checking in with the airline as sometimes the gate nos may have changed... it happened to me, so while at the airport, my folks warned me about that too... ALWAYS make sure to check the flight details and the gate no, they have it flashing anywhere in the airport so it's really easy to find, make sure that the gate is correct, if it's not the same as in your boarding pass...
