hi all!

My husband's interview is on Aug 26. Just want to check what picture is required for him to bring? 2x2 photo or a visa size photo? Is there a special requirement for the photo? (ex: white background??)

NVC ~IR-1 Visa~ Journey

2009-06-13 : NVC case # assigned

2009-06-20: DS-3032/AOS Bill Generated and received via e-mail

2009-06-20 : DS-3032 e-mailed; AOS/I-864 Bill (paid online $70)

2009-06-25 : Sent In Completed I-864

2009-06-29 : IV Fee bill generated, paid online $400

2009-07-06: DS-230 cover sheet available, DS-230 mailed to NVC

2009-07-10: NVC started reviewing the DS-230 package according to AVR

2009-07-15 : Case in review

2009-07-20: Log in Failed! WOOHOO!

2009-07-21 : Case complete

2009-07-26 : NVC e-mailed an interview date for Sept.22

2009-08-10 : Case left NVC

2009-08-10 : DHL shipped file

2009-08-17 and 18 : Medical scheduled

2009-08-18: request for Interview to be re-scheduled - unsuccessful (physical file not in Manila yet)

2009-08-19: called USEM again, rescheduled date granted

2009-08-26: new interview date-- PASSED!! YIPEE!

2009-08-29: Visa in hand

2009-09-02: Seminar

2009-09-05: POE Finally after 5 years of being away from each other!

2009-09-15: SS card received. Job hunting begins ;-)

he will need 2x2 with white background..and make sure to photocopy the ds forms that he will bring.

They should have provided you with a checklist. My wife was asked to bring her passport, 2x2 photos (x2), and wedding pictures.

2009-01-29 : I-130 package sent

2009-02-05 : NOA1

2009-04-03 : NOA2

NVC

2009-04-16 : NVC case # assigned

2009-04-18 : DS-3032/AOS bill generated

2009-04-18 : AOS bill paid; DS-3032 emailed

2009-04-22 : AOS package mailed

2009-05-12 : IV Fee bill generated

2009-05-12 : IV Fee bill paid

2009-05-26 : Mailed DS-230 package and AOS package (first one never made it)

2009-06-11 : RFE (original birth certificate missing)

2009-06-16 : Mailed original birth certificate

2009-07-03 : Case complete

2009-07-09 : Interview date assigned (8/12/09)

Embassy

2009-08-11 : Interview rescheduled to 8/14/09

2009-08-14 : Visa approved

2009-08-20 : Visa received

2009-10-30 : SSN never came through, so, re-applied for SSN

I just downloaded a checlist from the website of USEM in MAnila. It states he needs to bring a visa photo but was not clearly elaborated. Thanks for the tip.

august 26 is a great day my wife is flying to be with me.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
