what does "touched" mean?

i see it all the time in timelines but can't figure out what it means.

do you mean the things that appear on a person's post, like mine? That is in your signature. If you go to 'My Controls' you will see 'edit signature'. I believe you can add up to 1500 characters to the signature. It used to be a lot more but they cut it back to save DASD

touched means that the CIS looked at your petition.

If you check your online status, for example, it states "last updated", if it changes, you were touched. Your case status most likely doesn't change when it's touched. It basically means, they had it in their hands. What they did with it is their little secret
