Tax Return Question

So I got my interview letter today, and just read through the required stuff to bring.

I saw that I needed copies of my husbands tax return + W2's, which is fine.

My questions is, do I need to order copies of our tax returns from the govt?

When we submitted our I-130, I sent in copies of the print out from when we filed online which included all the information ect... It was like 5 pages or so.

Never got an RFE so I never thought it was issue.

I also wonder, for anyone who has ordered them. Does it take long for them to arrive? My interview is Sept 24th!

u can pick up in two minutes from the local office just by showing id. or i think they will send u via rax right away. good luck. other times people will tell u just wait for some more post. i got mine from the local office, abby n sheryl

Actually a copy of the forms you filed and the w-2s are enough. But you can certainly get the transcripts from th IRS if you want. I had transcripts from previous years and a copy of the actual return for 2008 at the interview showing my and my wife's signature.
