Illinois... Chicago to be exact. Most of my American friends live there and I just absolutely love that city. Plus its still on a great lake. I'd still feel somewhat at home. :P

New York City all the way for me. Luckily that's where I live! This is where I belong and will probably be for awhile.

My second choice would be Miami, FL and my third would be San Francisco. I'm definitely a big city kind of girl but a suburban girl at heart. My in-laws are moving to Vegas to retire, so who knows maybe we'll end up there too.

Well its not the state I am moving to.... Although what I have seen of NE is nice, we will live in the Omaha metro, the winters aren't AS cold as SK, and they end sooner.....NE you actually get a spring/summer/fall, and the summers can be pretty hot, so its a good tradeoff I guess. I would probably pick a more southern state like TN or GA. I absolutely fall in love with the mountains and beauty every time I go to visit my fiance's family who live in north Atlanta metro. Of course if I ever moved down there I am sure I'd be saying "Get me outta here" during the hot and humid summers. The humidity does wonders for my skin, hair and nails, I had never seen them look so good, I hate dry air!!

I love living in Florida so I'm thinking we'll keep a winter home here at some point. Upstate NY would be awesome, and so would Washington..... but not Seattle. :hehe: PA would be semi-nice too. The other States I've been to (44 in all) are all places I like to visit but not necessarily live. Though I may change my mind if we have to move to one of them and I see it from another perspective.

I actually love NC, but we have talked about if we decide to move somewhere else (hubby despises the humidity here), we are thinking AZ or Oregon. We have a good friend from Oregon and she said I would love it there :) Hubby is from very southern Cali, so if we could afford it, I'm sure he'd love to go back there as well

I really like where I am living so that worked out quite well. Having been here a while and had a chance to visit other locations - I think I would like to live in Savannah or Columbus Georgia if I wasn't living here. If we moved within the Atlanta area then I would choose the Decatur ot Roswell area.

another state? Well I really enjoyed Raleigh, NC and could live there quite happily or for a complete change of scenery I would enjoy Manitou Springs, Colorado.

Other countries? Maybe Scotland or New Zealand.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We live in North Carolina too (Charlotte) and like your husband, I loathe the humidity. I'm working on my husband to eventually move to either Arizona or New Mexico. When I tell other people they always say, "...but it's so hot there". I respond, "Yeah but it's hot HERE and it's also humid."

Minnesota (Twin Cities), Arizona (Tucson), Michigan (the UP), or just about anywhere in Washington State or New Mexico. I could also be quite happy in any of the northern New England states (Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire). I would love to live in Alaska, but only for a year or two.

I would LOVE to move to New Zealand, Australia, or Costa Rica.

I absolutely love Colorado, its the state I didn't know I'd love until I came here for the first time.

The only reason I'd think about moving is to be closer to my family. But, I don't care for upstate NY in the least! I actually almost ended up in NC, my husband lived in Mooresville (near Charlotte) when we first met, but moved back home a little over a year after we first started dating. I liked it there, I could have lived there as well, but Colorado suits me better.
