Its funny how much liberals "care" and want healthcare for all. Ok, why don't they band together and volunteer to pay for it? No, they want to force everyone else into trillions and trillions of more debt. It isn't about prosperity for all, its that they are miserable and want misery spread equally.

Band together and volunteer to pay for it? Hey, that's a good idea. Isn't that the same thing you did to pay for Bush's wars, military spending, corporate welfare, and tax cuts for the wealthy? Did it work well for you?

It wasn't just Bush's war, the American people were behind it so hate on all of us that supported the war and not just Bush ok. I hate to see him get all the #######.

Allow me to translate your revisionist history into plain English for everyone to understand:

Not all Americans were "behind it" as you assert. There was plenty of dissent. You simply weren't paying attention.

Bush lied to Americans by cooking the "intelligence" regarding Iraq.

You are still welcome to band together with the other ostriches and pay for Bush's war and for the rest of his spending spree.

Actually I have a better idea why don't we split the tab up according to the number of Reps in each state, that voted for it.

How many were in your state?

Some do offer it. Not all MDs are up to their necks in debt and debt removed... not all are money hungry, greedy leeches.

/BOGGLE.

Wow you are talking about doctors here? I agree that a lot of docs are in up to their eye balls in debt (my cousin is a 3rd year resident and has $250k in debt so far), but that does not make them greedy leaches!

C'mon now . . . who's fault is it that they owe so much?

The Universities. Tuition is just so expensive and a lot of docs have to go out of state and pay 3-4 times when they could have in state. Some go to private schools or DO schools if they can't get into their state's MD school.

I think it is out of necessity and not of greediness that more young doctors don't donate their time. They can't afford it!

It is the cost drivers in the USA healthcare that cause the insurance companies to charge so much and raise rates so fast and drop people with pre-existing conditions, plain and simple.

1) med school students having to pay $250-$500K for 3-4 year education, then getting pimped out in residency at $40K a year or less for 3-4 years after graduation. Not including all the costs to live and go to undergrad along the way. The Doctor and med school lobbyists have created this situation also with congress and laws to set up such a expensive system, and then we wonder why Dr have to charge or get paid so much after going to work. Oh and lest we not forget the runaway malpractice lawsuits and insurance costs on Dr, it just gets passed all on to Insurance companies when they pay your claim and then insurance companies pass it all back on to you and I in higher premiums.

2)same thing happens to other nurses and medical staff to a degree

3)US drug companies have lobbied over years and control congress and the laws

4) hospitals, medical companies, drug companies, licensing boards, insurance companies have all lobbied so much for so long and carved out their own niche or turf in the American Congress, that we are all stuck with these problems and laws now and that is why Congress and this president are not doing anything to help us like they should.

Just more higher taxes on us all, less coverage and options, less care, more greedy waste to make all those aforementioned groups richer. Sadly Obama has yet to address and get at what the heart of the problem is that is causing these high costs for insurance and all the problems, he truly does not know what he is doing and is going to fail on this issue. Just totally inept and unprepared for this one, sadly he cannot read off a teleprompter for this one, he actually has to do some real work for a change. Lot different from some leach off the people community organizer job.

And for all those of you that voted for Obama, his campaign manager Alexrod is currently working for the healthcare industry as a lobbyist. Explain that one. Open your eyes, you were all duped.

That's perfectly OK with me, as long as we include only the Representatives that Bush told the truth to...oops...that would be none of them. Looks like your idea won't work.

In my opinion, the medical doctors are already inundated with patients which would give them enough income to live for 10 years. They are already financially happy. Therefore, the need to get more money is relaxed a bit since they paid all their student loans+debt. I'd say it's the new doctors who are worried about paying off their student loans, and tend to be greedy.

That sick liberal tendency to paint others as "greedy" is really getting old.

Why don't you tell us what you give away?

From what I gather from your posts, you've benefited pretty well since arriving here, please take a minute and tell us what money and time you pass up for your fellow american?

I would bet almost every person here hopes to get every honest dollar they can for their labor.

THATS NOT GREED.

And, only the conservatives like to steal candies from babies.

sounds like a deal, as long as you pay for obama's spending spree ;)

As long as you're in a deal-making mood, how about this? I'll pay for Obama's health care and stimulus. You pay for Bush's wars, all of his corporate welfare, his tax cuts for the wealthy, any military spending over $200 billion per year, and cover the off-shore tax cheats in the deal? Deal?

Audio clip.

Well looks like Rush has a new listener.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Why are you allowing these leftists direct the healthcare debate to their Bush Derangement Syndrome and more polls? Bush isn't the president now, stop living in the past.

The Obama 10 year deficit projection is 10 trillion dollars now. So, have fun paying for that.

The IRS Receipts actually skyrocketed under the Bush tax-cuts because people were spending a lot more money. But the left ignores that. Shoot, I allowed them to bait me into responding to their diversion.

We'll take the cash for clunkers if you take Bush's big tax write-offs for SUV's. The selective outrage brigade let that one slide for Bush without so much as one tea bag party....tsk, tsk.
