I received a notice of action on April 4 2009 for approved i 130 for my mother (iam a US citizen)

NVC does not have this approved petition

on 06/01/2009 I contacted USCIS they wrote back "Action has been completed on this case by the vermont service center we no longer have this approved petition. Please direct this inquiry and future inquiries to NVC.

So I waitedf ull 90 days before contacting NVC again. July 20th 2009. NVC replied my email they donnot have this case i should direct inquiries to USCIS.

July 29th 2009 USCIS responded: We have approved this case. However we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time for it to be sent to NVC. If you locate the petition at the NVC within 60days of this letter please call our customer service.

I have no idea what is holding this case I have called USCIS and they donot have any further information besides its under review the same info on the letter .Has anyone been in such a situation any info will be appreciated.

My dad 's petition filled at the same time has already been completed and has his visa but I was hoping for my parents to come together. Had no delays with his.

I don't know if you have been able to locate your file yet. I hope so, but if not call the DOS in Washington DC.

I recently called the NVC to find out about a file. They told me that they had sent it back to USCIS. I called USCIS, they told me that they did not have it. I called the NVC, they gave me the exact date they had sent it to USCIS. This went back and forth for a few days and I spent hours on the phone. I even talked to a supervisor several times at USCIS (I got the same one evertime and she was rude.) Anyway, finally a girl at the NVC told me to call the DOS in Washington DC and gave me the number. I called the DOS and they told me to call USCIS and what to tell them. Longer story short, they located my file the next day.

If you haven't found your file yet, call the DOS in Washington DC.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........
