Yay. I received my Gramma's documents finally today, since she's going to co-sponsor my husband.

Anyway, I just want to make sure this is sufficient:

Signed and filled out I864

Copy of her birth certificate (omg.. they have a box asking whether she was legitimate or not, rofl)

Copy of her and her husband's 2008 tax return

Copy of their marriage certificate

Copy of 2009 Estimated income (as my Grandpa passed away this year, so her income will be less)

Copy of a bank statement showing EFT's of VA/SS/Pension deposits

Copy of their 1099 for 2008

Copy of IRA statement for 2008

Thanks :D

The wait would be unbearable but it'll be worth it. It strengthens the love, it attaches you even more to each other, it shows how your man would do whatever it takes to be with you, that he will never give up on you because he LOVES you!! All the waits, stresses, tears, heartaches, all the miserable feelings you feel along the way will be paid off once you get what you've been hoping for...oh and WITHOUT PRAYERS? will be like trying to start a fire with water, JUST WON'T WORK!

you can have them faxed directly to you that same day if you call them and have access to a fax machine. my brother had his faxed here so we wouldn't have to wait freaking forever for them (they had told them initially it would take 2 weeks to receive...stupid)

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....

I recently ordered transcripts from IRS and got 3 years in 4 or 5 days and I live in Hawaii.

As enraptured said you can get them faxed to you while you are talking to them during business hours.
