You don't 'start over'

You will have to file to lift/remove conditions about 21 months from now (no sooner than 90 days before your current PR/Green Card expires). Relax for a while...

Be grateful - a lot of families are separated because they can't get any sort of green card. I'm sure they'd kill for a GC - 2 year or otherwise!

Continue piling up evidence of you guys having a bonafide marriage. Pictures of special occasions, trips, more joint bills, magazine prescriptions, save mail addressed to both of you etc. If you submit an adequate amount when you apply there's a GOOD chance you won't be interviewed!

After you get your 10 year GC you'll have to do the whole enchilada again for US citizenship. NOT until them will you be FREE!

Then you can divorce your old man, grab a guy in your home country and go thru the whole trip again from the petitioners side!!! :bonk:

I agree with you....it does feel like you're starting over again...we're filing for the removal of conditions now...

Just do like we did for the past couple of years...get an empty box and throw all the evidence you can collect over the next two years in it... If you're anything like us...you'll have a mountain of evidence by that time...then maybe they'll let you skip on the interview...

For now though, enjoy your two years off! And congrats on making it this far! Well done!
