Hello everyone,

I am getting ready to purchase my wife's ticket for Continental Airlines. I'm curious if anyone had their first time POE in Guam and if there are any problems going through here. Any feedback would be great, thanks! :)

If you search here, there are some positive reviews on going through Guam. It's one of the easiest entry points. My fiancee will be going through there soon as well.

Hi There! Guam is my POE too..and as for my experience, it was just so easy going around. Their airport is small so i just followed all the people getting out. Then I formed in line at the customs and border (there were not too many people on the plane or even on the airport since we arrived at 4 in the morning). The border guy just asked me a few questions while checking my brown envelope and he had my finger print scanned and had me look at a camera. Then they let me enter a small room where they put all the immigrants entering US..there were a lot of immigrants and K1 or K3 visas that day (maybe around 15 that time). I waited for my name to be called and then they just told me that I have to get married by August...That's it. The people there are very friendly..there seem to be a lot of Filipinos working there too..u wont get lost just ask around..Have a safe trip!:)

~~They give out I-94 on the plane so make sure to fill it out~~

I did not experience problem when I came over here in US with Guam as my POE. They just took my brown envelope and then the officer asked me some questions about our plan of marriage and of the address of my husband. The officer informed me that my visa will expire after 3 months( I knew that ;-)) ..that was it. Then before I left, he affixed his signature to my visa and handed it back to me ....Piece of cake!

There has been cases where the immigrant was processed in Guam but had to wait for the next stop to go thru customs. I think it was something to do with the plane arriving in the middle of the night and customs wasn't open.

Guam isn't that busy of an airport.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

hey thank u for the info , in my wife's case she has no luggage so it means no custom, so she should be fine at guam. after guam she will be in hawaii for about 3 hours then houston. abby n sheryl

My POE was in Guam. All I can say is Guam is easiest POE and staff there are nice.I flew via Continental Airlines too.Manila to Guam-Honolulu-Houston-Tampa.MY customs were in Hawaii..staff and officers were so nice too and very helpful.I didn't encounter problems with my luggages too and no need to re-check in..it will go all the way to your final destination. So nothing to worry.I recommend Continental Airlines for their good service. My husband had flew via Continental lot of times when he visited me in the Philippines.

Happy Trip !!!!
