Approval Letter Finally Came.....

I am so very happy at 10:30 pm tonight I got our approval letter :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: it has beeen a wait. You know you look on the USCIS website 2 or 3 times a day and you check the mail constantly and when you start to relax on looking so much POW there it is...

I called my husband and we both has nothing we could say. You wait and wait for the letter and when it comes you are speechless...it was just like a sigh of relief...we are now waiting for our interview date...

God is great. I know that God's favor is on our lives and situation. He said that He will never leave nor forsake us if we just keep our faith, hope and eyes on Him.

I will continue to pray for all of us longing to be reunited with our loved ones and that the visa process becomes an opportunity for our joy to be revealed and our faith to grow so that our endurance is fully developed and then we will be stronger in character and ready for anything.

Congratulations, this also happened to me, when i told myself i won't even check the websites anymore, gbam, here comes the email from CRIS. God is good and He is always faithful. I pray others waiting get good news soon. God bless you. (L):thumbs:

Thank you everyone for the congratulations....

It has been extremely helpful and encouraging hearing from others their experiences and challenges. :thumbs::blush:

Without the VJ community :wacko::crying: I think I would have been stressing even more. I was and still am amazed :unsure::blink: how each case and persons experience is so different...even when dealing with the same country or consulate office and or closely the same circumstances....

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

The process seems to move pretty quick once he gets his interview date.

NSC, NOA1 September 26th,03

received NOA1 in mail Oct. 03,03

RFE - received in mail March 29th,04

RFE returned April 17th,04

RFE received April 21,04 at NSC online

NOA2 received April 29th,04 via online

NOA2 received May 03,04 in mail

NVC receives file May 6th,04

NVC sends file to Nigeria May 11th,04

Lagos receives our file, notified thru e-mail May 19th,04

Victor goes and picks up packet #3....May 20th,04

Sent request for earlier interview date via e-mail May 20th,04

May 27th, Lagos won't change date.

August 16th, 2004 fly to Nigeria for Victors interview

August 19th, 2004 Interview date, visa approved.

August 25th, 2004 Victor picks up passport with visa stamp.

August 26th, 2004 fly back to USA

September 18th, 2004 Victor arrives in USA, Lord willing.

October 9th, 2004, we become husband and wife

October 25th, 2004 I learn that I'm pregnant.

Feburary 25th, 2005 AOS Appointment

( went to appt. and requested a reschedule)

June 7th, 05 gave birth to a boy child.

July 5th, 05 Victor packs he suitcase and leaves for good.

July 2005 2nd AOS appointment

( went and requested a reschedule )

August 2005- I file for divorce. and withdraw immigration paperwork.
