Cuba is very bad right now. Cubans get a certain amount of coffee, sugar, beans, etc a month and it is not enough to feed them for a month. Prostitution is at an all time high, with the girls starting at a very young age. It is true a lot of them do not know any thing different but it can not get too much worst. I hear about it a lot from all the people from Miami that go to Cuba.

Hmmm... if it is true I'll be curious to see what happens. I suspect regime change of some form will be one the cards - probably ending up with Cuba becoming an annexed territory of the US, similar to Puerto Rico.

Remember your history. America once had Cuba but decided against keeping it.

A white guy who takes tourists out on boating excursions in the Key West area told me his friends like to go to Cuba (apparently, it's no problem if you know how) because the "women are cheap and easy" out there. He was being dead serious. Kinda sad to hear, really.

In the UK Cuba has become a very popular destination... Apparently they have these resorts where tourists can go which are all inclusive and don't have to go and see the reality the country lives in...

I know a guy who went in April and said that he did not visit anything, just stayed for 2 weeks straight at the resort...

I don’t know, however I could tell you that a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in the beach, not an ocean canal, in the beach in Cuba right know is about 4K, if Castro is dead that’s were I will spend my money. As to the housing in Miami I bet that they will go down in price, However remember that Cuban immigrants in Miami are among the most prominent, I bet most will leave however they will keep there real state properties in the states.

It is very true you get women in Cuba just for food money (which is very cheap). Some upscale clubs for tourist they can not get in without being escorted by a man (tourist, a man with lots of money or connections). A lot of friends of mine love going there for that reason. It is very sad!

I would definitely invest money in Cuba without a dictator.

I actuallly went to Cuba a few years back (on my then newly acquired British passport) -- it struck me being a lot like Jamaica -- a nice resort but I had no idea how real people lived. I saw evidence of sex tourism and it depressed me (every time I see this -- as I have in Vietnam, Thailand and the Phillippines - I want to fall on my knees and thank god for being born in a first world country).

Anyways, hasn't Castro "died" at least 4-5 times in the history of the internet?

Yes they have said he has died about a thousand times before but one of these times it has to be true.

Ij ust hope that when that day comes, things stay ok in cuba. Last thing the Cubans need is a chopf#ck chaotic situtation on top of what all ready is there.

Cuba is one country I want to visit before I die. I just have to see it for myself and see all the things my friends parents told me about.
