The rumor is on Wonkette and Redstate....

So, Is Castro Dead, Or What?

Anyone who works at the State Deparment want to confirm the anonymous rumor we just heard that everyone’s freaking the ###### out re. the unverified death of Fidel Castro?

To be more specific — we hear OAS heard rumors of said death and is, as of right now, unable to verify Castro’s whereabouts or hold on this mortal coil.

IF THIS IS TRUE Miami will be empty; I know that as a Cuban, I can’t speak for older members of my family they will go back. That has bee my fathers dream to die in Cuba, I can’t say the same for the younger generation, but lots of Cuban will go back. Before Castro Cubans did not leave Cuba instead there were people immigrating to Cuba from all over the world.

Hmmm... if it is true I'll be curious to see what happens. I suspect regime change of some form will be one the cards - probably ending up with Cuba becoming an annexed territory of the US, similar to Puerto Rico.

Remember your history. America once had Cuba but decided against keeping it.

. The United States government in Cuba from 1899 to 1902 , that is why my paternal grandmother had a an USA passport, she was born in 1901.
