Fidel Castro Dead?

There are rumors but it has not been confirm that Fidel Castro the dictator of Cuba is dead. Has anyone anywhere heard anything on this? Because a co-worker of mine that works out of Venezuela says that Reuters News has release this as breaking news in Venezuela but I have not found any such news in the U.S.

Hi just checked a venezuelan digital newspaper/forum and they are saying that it has not been confirmed.

One of the most important and serious journalists of Venezuela said that it was true on her radio show, but again, apparently it has not been confirmed by cuban officials.

If he's dead, I assume that Chavez would be in Cuba now...

I have recently read that the US government is preparing for his death ) but I was not expecting it to be so soon. If its not true, it would not be the first time we hear false statements about Castro's death.

Thanks for the information because a lot of people are going crazy here in Miami. Miami is full of Cubans and they want to know. If he dies the streets are going to be crazy it might be worst than when the Miami Heat won the NBA Finals a couple of weeks ago.

What is the name of the Venezuelan journalist? Do you know?

Hmmm... if it is true I'll be curious to see what happens. I suspect regime change of some form will be one the cards - probably ending up with Cuba becoming an annexed territory of the US, similar to Puerto Rico.
