The part thats amazing to me is: the change of heart so quickly that coupled with the fact that "he hasn't really accomplished anything yet to be mad about" he has only tried.

Sure he did the stimulus deal but as yet that has not touched anyones pocket book or life.

I think we have only seen a trickle so far.

I guess the novelty of having a President who is a decent public speaker is running out of steam.

Obama's needs to quit making efforts to work with the GOP - they made clear that they have one single goal in mind and that's not about to change. So, ** them. He should have abandoned that effort towards bi-partisanship a long time ago. Other than that, seeing what hand he was dealt and thinking of what could have been had he not won in November :shudder: I am quite content.

I have a very hard time believing that if McCain/Palin had won the election that they'd be enjoying any sort of significant popularity at this point (let alone whether the country itself would be in a better situation).

Um, per Merriam Webster dictionary. Not sure how you are trying to get at or inject the race card here so to dispel your rhetoric

Rhetoric is another misunderstood word, I fear.

Unless you were suggesting that Almaty was asking a rhetorical question (i.e. one that doesn't require answering because the answer is assumed).

Naturally, referring to a black man as "boy" is a pretty well known racial disparagment, so when someone connects the phrase to Obama (a well-known black man) obviously makes one wonder what was intended.
