How much proof of relationship stuff do they want to see? If I print out all our emails I'll have a dictionary size pile, I'm thinking 4 or so emails a month showing a continuous string of communication. We are bringing in cards I sent her. I sent her my phone statements showing our texting, that's our main form of comm, and I printed out phone card logs and sent them. I also included 2 or 3 yahoo chats since we don't do that often. I also have several pics of us together and the receipts for my manila trip and her ring in there. Will this be sufficient or should we print out more?

hey that is what i found on manila embassy about the relationship stuff.

■Six or more personal photos with the primary applicant and petitioner (and spouse and children if they are applying) taken over a period of time; also include a copy of the petitioner’s U.S. passport or Permanent Resident Card.

■Personal correspondence, home telephone records or financial records showing an ongoing relationship.

■Proof of joint property ownership, joint financial obligations or remittances from the petitioner

■Baptismal records, medical records, school records and year books with photos, old and current professional ID’s.

■All old passports.

■Any other evidence you feel might be helpful

good luck

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

I got the first one,

The rest I'm a bit confused. I was told not to show that I western unioned her money because they may think I'm buying her love. WE don't have joint property yet. She only has one passport the one she got 2 months ago, and baptismal records? How does that show we have a relationship?

Thank you Linda!!! I like to hear that!! Did you do yours already?

I think we will be ok but still. I'm having her print out more emails. I'm sure she'll go sit down and they'll barely look at the stuff but better safe than sorry. I just hope my sweeties muscles don't get strained carrying it all around.

I have seen some post about sending money on a K1 (the buying love deal) some have held off on showing the doc's and some have not. I would keep them in your back pocket, my wife was never ask about me sending money to her and our daughter at the CR1 interview, only emails and photo's.

That's funny. When you mentioned weight I went and got the Fedex thing. I sent 4 pounds of stuff!! and she's printing out stuff too. There better be no doubt in their minds we have a relationship.

Yeah it felt light but it was a lot of paper.

I'll keep the Western union in the background too.

One more thing to keep in mind no books or binders, when the pre-screener ask for the doc's it needs to fit under the window 1"H x 12" W I used the two hole punch and prong fastners with cover sheet. Some of the pre-screeners get a lil-pisssss when you gotta take photos and docs out of folders and stuff.
