My point being that an individual muslim is off limits as far as the left and criticism is concerned. They are very careful not to say anything to offend an individual muslim, but go after Christians with complete contempt and hatred. Its ok to hate Christians, but hating anyone else is morally wrong.

How many US politicians are Muslim? How many of them have made public statements like Rep. Bachman has said regarding her religious beliefs? And then for the real whopper...take a deep breath....what do suppose would be the reaction from the Right if US Rep. who was Muslim had said the same exact thing as her? Joseph, there's hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle.

Nobody is demonstrating outside her office over it. No one is demanding she remove herself from public office. She made a lunatic statement and people here lampooned her. That's pretty softball in light of how others seem to express their outrage. But if it makes you feel better, I'll take a teabag and rub it against her image on my screen right now.
