I-130 name question

My fiancee and I are getting married tomorrow (very exciting!!). Shortly after that, we're going to be sending in the I-130 package.

Now, for her, when they say "Family Name" ...do they mean her new last name, same as mine? Or her maiden name? I'd think they would mean my name, but her Passport and whatnot is going to have her maiden name on it still.

Thoughts?

If she is going by her new married name, then put the married name as the Family name. o_o

Question 7. Will ask for other names used, thus her maiden name.

And just make sure you change the passport to the married name and all other documents, health care, drivers license, banking info, asap.

G'luck =)

Thanks!!

Also, while we're at it, I had a question about Marriage Bonafides. We're going to have to go with Affidavits. Any hints or tips on this?

I didn't send any affidavit's, I just sent tons of photos from each visit, and boarding passes, and passport stamps.

Photo's generally do the trick. Affidavit's are really a last resort, but just remember they don't have to be from the people that attended your wedding.
