I see this on the USCIS.GOV website this morning.

Does it mean that someone is actually working on our AOS papers??

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

This it true... but technically its been doing that from the day it was transferred...

Is it now actually on someones desk to be examined??

It means its now waiting for its turn at the service center it was transferred...
