DOS..

I just called DOS couple of times and I am getting the message for office being closed today... their office hours are M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm and closed on federal holidays.. there is no holiday today and it's 11:10am.. did anyone else call and experienced the same or am I in their ignore list for calling everyday?!?! :$

They are closed for an hour on Wednesdays afternoon.

Dept. of State.. we can check the status of our Administrative Processing by calling them.. now that's another story that it's all supposed to be confidential and they don't provide any helpful information!

ABSOLUTELY EVERY WORKING DAY since day 1!

Per Sarah at DOS the embassy received my email letting them know I am planning a trip to see SO and the notes say they would love to interview with me :-). She said there weren't any notes as to when so I'll email embassy to see what they have to say!

I called at the same time as well around 11:30 am,i receieved the same message but then i listened to the greetings again and it said they closed 11 to 12 noon on weds.Anyways i got thru after 12 noon and the lady first asked me if i was the petitioner i said no i m the beneficiary.She then put me on hold and said case is still pending but there is some activity done with the passport.I said ok thanx and i will call back in 2 weeks. she replied no call back on monday so i m assuming i will hear something positive next week IA.

I called again around 2:00 and I was told that there was some action recently.. dumb me asked her how recent (since I call almost everyday) she chuckled and said this week.. so I was kinda excited but then all of a sudden she said.. call next week! I may call again tomorrow but I am also hoping to hear a good news next week inshaAllah!!!

Last night....its was a new lady...well not new exactly but someone I have not spoken to before!

however, she had nothing new to say!
