Aya....it is just awful to what lengths your parents are going to keep you apart. I will pray that they may open their minds and hearts and allow you be happy and choose your own path in life.

Well I DECIDED to cook last night. Made last night's dinner and tonight's. I was smoldering in the apt. but mission accomplished with a nice cake to boot. Hubby was happy

Speaking of vacations...the last I had was back in November, when hubby came. It was a mere 4 works days off.

I had taken 1 personal day too, I guess back in July. Whopdeedo!

I am trying to be really good so that when I ask for 2 weeks next May, he will give it.

I do have Monday, Labor Day coming...for sure we will hit the beach, probably for the last time

Happy Wednesday! Well today is my last night to spend this week in the hotel. I fly home tomorrow night. I am so ready!!! The hotel they have us in is kind of secluded. Not a lot to do around here and now that squeaky girl went home I'm alone in my evenings!!! (miss you girl!). i was in for dvt and pe which means blood clots in my leg and lungs. the insurance took care of most of it. i am just seeing a couple ex-rays for $13 that didnt cover (i mean the exrays were more but thats what was left they didnt pay) and maybe my husbands will pick them up. i dont think ill owe much of it.

Not all of our girls come back here to post their breakups and no wonder. I applaud the strong ones that do, and I am, as always, here for the ones that prefer to keep it off the forums. Ok, Houston ladies I gotta question for you all. Im dying to get Adam a special bday cake designed Egyptian style as a surprise for his Sept 1st bday. Is there any bakery around town that could free style something for me. I want a pyramid, palm tree and camel designed cake. Nothing from Walmart or like that. Im off for the next two days and Im looking into things, but Im nearly lost in my mind around this town!

I wanted a cake like that for Amir's 2nd birthday I couldnt find any one that did a pyramid or anything like that. I looked on a site to try to make it myself but I would have had to order the mold of the pyramid so next year I will try it ! Edited August 20, 2009 by mohamed and melinda
