Morning

Aya....it is just awful to what lengths your parents are going to keep you apart. I will pray that they may open their minds and hearts and allow you be happy and choose your own path in life.

Melinda....such sweet pix CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for sharing.

How are you managing with all the children? Hubby helping out at home?

Amanda....I love the new pictures. I wish I could get my pix on here. Your daughter's skin color is dark and she looks as if she is could be Raad's. I hope you don't mind me saying so. She is stunning.

Nagi, girlfriend, you are always in my prayers. (F)

Well I DECIDED to cook last night. Made last night's dinner and tonight's. I was smoldering in the apt. but mission accomplished with a nice cake to boot. Hubby was happy ;)

Speaking of vacations...the last I had was back in November, when hubby came. It was a mere 4 works days off.

I had taken 1 personal day too, I guess back in July. Whopdeedo!

I am trying to be really good so that when I ask for 2 weeks next May, he will give it.

I do have Monday, Labor Day coming...for sure we will hit the beach, probably for the last time :(

Enjoy your day....it's HUMP DAY!

Hope you all have had a great day.

charles should be full of popcorn by now~~~

Tonight, some of our girls are preparing for Ramadan. Some are getting their children back to school. Some are moving up in their careers and some...well some are in emotional pain and physical danger. Please remember each other in your prayers.

Not all of our girls come back here to post their breakups and no wonder. I applaud the strong ones that do, and I am, as always, here for the ones that prefer to keep it off the forums. I don't say this much here (negativity is not needed here daily in this regard) but know that behind the scenes we have compiled extensive links regarding domestic violence, the legalities of the affidavit of support and emotional support. You are not alone.

It is sad that that information is necessary, but I'm so glad that it is available. And thanks to you, Jackie, for offering it up to those who may need it.

Hello Melinda! Your new baby is adorable! What a cutie! And I bet Amir is growing up so fast too!

Aya, Im praying for you girly. One day things will be better for you. Until then, be strong in your heart and in your love.

Ok, Houston ladies I gotta question for you all. Im dying to get Adam a special bday cake designed Egyptian style as a surprise for his Sept 1st bday. Is there any bakery around town that could free style something for me. I want a pyramid, palm tree and camel designed cake. Nothing from Walmart or like that. Im off for the next two days and Im looking into things, but Im nearly lost in my mind around this town!

I wanted a cake like that for Amir's 2nd birthday I couldnt find any one that did a pyramid or anything like that. I looked on a site to try to make it myself but I would have had to order the mold of the pyramid so next year I will try it ! Edited by mohamed and melinda
