<sigh> Back to the drawing board.

i KNOW IT'S so frustrating.

I've now found airfare.com - through kayak.com (thanks lorelle) which is decent. I just hate to waste these miles when I have a perfectly good excuse to use them.

I could just pay, and then gain MORE miles to go somewhere fabulous...but it's just a pain

Can you pay for a ticket and use the miles to upgrade? Because my thoughts are if you are going to OZ, upgrading might be really nice!

Depends which program you are with....but usually I think you can.

I flew first class once........................there is nothing like it :D It was from Philly to Dublin-crazy part-my man had been denied entry, but there was an amazing us air employee that helped get him a connecting flight-I called her superiors to tell them how great she was, so she totally bumped me up when I went to see him the next week.

so sad that it took my man being turned away for me to fly first class ;)

I assume OZ is Australia, although when I first read this I thought

"Wizard of OZ, don't you just have to click your Magic shoes to get there?"

Seriously FF miles are kind of a joke I think, I have some with Delta and they want me to cash them in on Magazine subscriptions..

Good Luck getting to OZ,
