Hi Everyone ,

Does anyone have any information about direct consular filing .. I would like to

file that for my husband . I already filed i 130 with USCIS ,but would like to go back to

my country now .i do not have an approval on my pending petition ..your help is

highly appreciated ..

Check to see what the residency requirements are - you won't be able to file until you've reached that amount of time (and check the Embassy Section to be certain DCF is offered).

i myself have been looking into this for delhi, it seems in India u have to be married and living there for three months not six i have seen on here sometime back that a few did it in a shorter time but i dont remember how they did it, u might also want to contact catknit member on here she is currently in delhi and has been looking into direct filing.

it seems there have been some changes some say u can no longer go there on a six month visitor visa now u have to get some other type of visa after the marraige to be able to do direct filing thats why im encouraging u to contact catknit, she has been a world of information for me and help.
