anh tien,

your story very very good even great I ever seen. but I have some ver hornest susgestion:

1. the more you wrote great time line the more suspisous cause: this will reflect the oposition of background between tien and anh ( anh >< tien : background)

2. you come to US since 5 year old ==> your culture >< anh's culture, try to made it clear or foget it dont include it in.

3. time to know each other too short.

4. detail in story sound like made up story, try to skip some unneeded detail like kissing( this is not vietnamese culture may reflect the different between you two, try to act vietnamese girl dont act like american girl)

5. clearly describe why you love him(not just he take care of you at something, state the beauty inside his heart)

6. clearly describe how he love you ( not because you are USC )

7. avoid your bacholor degree if he is not MS or PHD( you are young , beauty, well educated, if his condition is not good as yours dont put it in)

8. try to made some typos, grammar error ( the perfect ussually well repared and made up )

theese are just my opinion, I may be wrong.

good luck,

good luck,

thank you so much for taking the time to look over my timeline so carefully. please allow me to answer the points that you've analyzed.

1. i don't quite understand what you mean by opposition of background. there most definently is an opposition. as for it being great, i'm so glad that ya'll think so. it eases my worries.

2. those few sentences were to emphasis that there is vietnamese in me and that i'm not completely americanized. i can speak and write it, so that's how we interacted.

3. talked on phone for 2 months, met, took 5 months to get engaged, took a year to get married. as til now, know each other for 2 years. time seems reasonable to both american times and vietnamese times, also, it was much easier in the way that both families are all cool with it. being vietnamese, if your family don't agree, your relationship gets miserable. we didn't have that problem.

4. the detail is so necessary. i'm a female, the timeline should sound like a female. females pay attention to details. also, we're young, in both cultures, when you're young, you tend to kiss a lot without the feeling of cultural suppressant.

5. writing about beauty inside his heart is the kind of balone anyone can cook up. again, from a female's perspective, if he cares to take care of you in the simplest way, he can take care of you and want to take care of you all round.

6. explaining how he loves me should be through his words. i can't speak that for him.

7. i can't avoid my education in my timeline because that is a part of me. that would cause red flags i'm sure.

8. there are so many typos in that timeline, it's embarrassing. i did make it up when i should be studying for my final. so... errors are plenty.

my husband already received the timeline with the notary so i can't fix any of it now. all the points you've mentioned are so awesome for our preparation. we'll gather up the emails and phone bills and chat logs to prove most of those points. thanks you so much again. i grateful beyond words.

Being a student and make no money really to support you both will be a huge red flag that is hard to overcome. Being introduced by a relative is a red flag also but not so big. Take care of those and I hope for the best for both of you.

The timeline is just words after all and even if they sound sincere to you or many does not mean they will sound that way to the co that will interview the hubbie. I am sure they will question him thoroughly about everything and including how he plans on working and living in the states.

hello VJs!

I made the relationship timeline of my CR1 case for HCMC. I fedexed it to my husband so that he could prepare for the interview, August 26th. I was wondering if ya'll would like to read it and possibly give me your opinions on what would be a red flag. I think this would really help us prepare for the interview. You could find the timeline on my profile page in the about me section. Word of warning, it's looooong.

thanks!

hey anh tien

your time line was ok but not Detail that mean you must to have time ,location, where and when

If your husb answers yes when CO ask him whether he (or you) has any relative in US, you will need submit a list of those. You have to list full name, address, contact telephone, the time, the way and how to arrive US. You also include any proof of immigration and proof of resident (more detail better): driver licence, utilities bill, passport. Thinking and preparing carefully with your husb who will be in the list.

Your timeline is like a Danielle Steel novel. I'm not an CO but it bores the heck outta me. Keep it short and concise with relevant info. The COs already know how well VNese "pretend" their loves to get their feet in America. Their love is very genuine...........at least for 3 years.........when they get their 10-year GC.................

then you'll be able to tell that love is still "Buc leu tranh va 2 qua tim vang" (a nice tent and 2 golden hearts).

Love is blind and you're like a fly attracted to the honey at this stage.

Just remember, life over there in VN is NOT real! Your money will be worth a LOT less once you get back over here. Back to reality, cowboy!

You're ok if your relative introduced you to him; if his relative introduced you guys, then definitely a redflag. Please include a list of his relatives in the US. They may or may not ask for the list, but definitely will ask about his relatives in the states. As for our case, we prepared a list but they just asked Thuan if she had any relatives in the US, but never asked to see the list. Best of luck to you!

there will be no more pink in HCMC .

I come submit timeline for my wife on 8/25/2009, almost 99% with blue slip get another blue slip again.

I also get a blue sip but this time is administrative close( the chief officer make final review and then send back to USCIS).

it say I can appeal @ USCIS but if USCIS revoke my case my wife will not be elligable for visa anymore.

this is such really such.

I askd the immigration lawyer if I can sue the consular, but he said that he can't sue them there is no court to sue. that too bad, no body can help me.

anybody know "administrative close" ?
