As I said before!

You ARE in someone elses hands. You will have to "hold your mug" and kiss butte when you talk with USCIS. Back talk and they can make one click on the computer and things slow way down or get lost.

Be prepared to be a wimp for the next few years.

USCIS is your new religion and the COs and IOs are your new GODS.

Sucks but that's the way it is and you can't do a damn thing about it.

You have to live with it until you/your mate has their US citizenship.!

I just sent out our 129 for our K-1 visa. We feel so good about our package. I have been reading different topics, and I see that you can get denied because the relationship isn't bonafide. How do they come to that conclusion?? My fiance and I talk every single day, and we have since the day we met, so I am not worried too much about this, but I hate the fact that my fate is in someone else's hands who does not even know me or my fiance! I guess that is what comes with falling in love with a foreigner. LOL

Any advice or facts about this? Thanks for helping

Good luck with ur journey fellow K-1 filer......it does seem like a lot in the beginning.....we always have the what if but just be patient and make sure u have enough proof and u will be fine  ......check out the guides and talk to other MENA members....I am pretty sure their answers will help u out more!

I agree with Meanaforlife. We did all the right things, had a lot of evidence, filed the K1 and BAM! Consulant sent our case back to USCIS. During it being in the mail our NOA2 expired. Case Closed. I am going to Morocco in December and Houcine are going to get married, back to US and file CR1. Just keep the faith that you will be together eventually. But ...I too believe you can get a BAD CO who maybe is having an off day or something, that was the case for Houcine. Anyway, gather lots of evidence and go with it. Good Luck

Rach you would agree that it's easy to prove your relationship with USCIS but when it gets to Casablanca GOD help us all. The amount of evidence that I sent in to uscis plus the additional evidence that my husband who was my fiance at the time brought in didn't mean a thing to that dark hair CO who was meaner then a rattle snake. I used to think that when someone got denied it had to be something wrong with the relationship until it happen to myself. Unreal how Casa is and it's unfortunate that some of the CO are straight up butt heads. I did hear that they transferred 2 of them to Tunishia.
