Got RFE,is it possible to receve more RFE's after this one?

Hi all. Hope you are doing well and moving fast with your application processings. I've been waiting for biometrics appointment letter so impatiently, but haven't recieved anything yet. and today I get an e-mail from CRIS stating that a RFE letter for I-485 was sent to me yesterday I'm very upset, for we spent so much time preparing the petiotion, and I really did not want to be slowed down by RFE's. The letter should be here, hopefully, by Saturday,so I will have some time to look at it over the weekend. It sucks that my school starts on Monday and it will slow me down in figuring out the RFE.

I have a question: other then documents requested in a RFE, does that mean everything else in my petition is in order and I won't recieve more RFE's after submitting the evidence they are asking for? I mean, do you think everything else is fine with my I-485, I-130 and I-765? USCIS sent NOA's on August 6th, and since then I had 3 touches on all forms: on 7th,11th and today,18th. Do you guys think there was enough time for them to find all missing documents? It would make me fill much better knowing that I won't receive more RFE's after this one. Thank you all in advance!!!

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

09/15/2011- Biometrics appointment issued for 10/05

11/21/2011- Card production ordered.

I wish I could tell you that this is the one and only RFE you can receive, however, you can definitely receive more than one RFE - and you can receive an RFE right up to and including at the interview. Most people only receive one and once they return the requested information find that their application is processed very quickly. That is the good news. The bad news is that yes, you can get more than one RFE. Good luck and hope you're one of the ones who gets their approval quickly rather than another RFE.

lol Yeah, I did. I just automatically consider it a part of I-485 :)

2-year green card application:

Yes its possible to receive more than one RFE. Just wait until you get the letter and respond to it as soon as you can. Hope your case does not take long before processing resumes on it after RFE. All the best!
