History channel had quite a program on the buck with an ongoing debate as to the Masons, their secret society, that most of our forefathers were Masons, and they symbols were the same the Masons had used. Those were the cons, we live in a Mason society, the pros were, Masons were just bricklayers that joined together, kind of like a union and had nothing to do with the buck.

That number 13 is suppose to be some significant number with the Masons, forgot what, but others claim it's because we started with 13 colonies.

All I know with on-line banking and credit cards, it's rare for me to see a buck anymore, just numbers. Use to carry a $1,000.00 bill in my wallet all the time, first marriage took care of that, but learned rather recently, they don't print those anymore, highest domination is a hundred buck bill. A buck in the military use to buy a carton of cigarettes, that is also history.
