My son and I leaving very soon... Anyone here had experienced SFO POE? Is it true traveling with american citizen kid no lots of question ask in POE?

My wife came through SanFrancisco, on her own, dragging 3 suitcases and carrying her 2-1/2 year-old son. She says the inspection by the immigration officer was the least of her problems.

Came through SFO POE with my family - they had tourist visas and I was on K-1. They were here for my wedding and would return. The officer didn't ask them any questions, other than asking me if they were here for my wedding. Looked at package, did the necessary stamps, thumb prints and photo shoots for all of us. Reminded me that I had 90 days to get married and waved me through...

We only had problems with our luggage as I alone had one huge luggage with 2 boxes of clothes. parents had one luggage, sis had another one... They screened through it in fear that we brought food over!

This is what I want to know on how they strict in screening the luggage coz' I'm planning to bring some my country made chocolate and milk powder candies that my hubby missed. Is this allow?

I never had any problems bringing chocolate (lots of it). And yes, I declared it every time
