If the Muslims wish to be united with Pakistan I say India give them their wish and empty Kashmir of all muslims and give them a one way trip to Pakistan. And no, if India leaves Kashmir it won't end the violence, what did India do to provoke a Muslim invasion in the first place when Kashmir was Hindu? All Israel's evacuation of Gaza has done, is encourage the terrorists. I'm totally disgusted by all the violence in the name of Islam. Now you're going off the deep end. Don't condemn a religion and blame it for the violence. If you want, we can go over the history of violence done in the name of Christianity. Humans will always try to rationalize violence, even calling upon it in the name of religion. In fact, our current President has made statements to just that line of thinking. Let's fight intolerance, hatred and fundamentalism. Those are humanity's real enemies.

Varanasi is doing fine too (for those who may not know or remember, there were train station bombs in Varanasi in March { only a few days after Sujeet left there, on a train} ).

Sujeet thinks his cousins in Mumbai might not usually take the commuter trains, but he is not 100% sure about it.

Bombers targeted India's upper class

The bombers, it turned out, systematically targeted first-class men's compartments, poking a poisoned finger in the eye of the city's well-heeled white- collar establishment. The victims were overwhelmingly male; judging by the lists of dead and injured posted at city hospitals, they were mostly of working age; judging by the testimony of their friends and relatives, most of them were habitual first-class passengers.

If targeting the train system was an attempt to break the lifeline of the city, then targeting these seven compartments was an even more pointed attempt to cripple the men who drive the city's roaring economy - bankers, stock brokers, diamond merchants, engineers.
