Because I don't trust what I have personally read and researched, I am asking the greatest and most knowledgable people on the internet, VJ'ers, to answer this:

Can a person with a green card (2 year provisional) travel to Canada without the I-131 (travel document). We were gonna make up trip up North, but don't want to get stuck. :help:

Absolutely..... a GC holder can travel and work without having to have the AP or EAD.

AP and EAD are only necessary if you do not have a GC.

Have a good time in Canada!!!!!! (The most beautiful country in the whole world..... I might be just a little biased, though!!!!)

I drove across the border and never needed to show the passport, just the GC. Painless!
