In our RFE Checklist, there are portions that has [X] and others []....

There were just a lot of list, and others are marked.

Its quiet confusing. From the instructions, it says pay specific attention of the marked items below. But how bout the unmark items? do we still need to provide those documents that they are asking?

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Firstly I believe you only send/complete the RFEs marked with an x and secondly, what did you send them/not send them to garner so many RFEs? I'm just wondering as I'd thought that NVC was only allowed to ding you for two only... not a whole pile?

Good luck... you perhaps have a more complicated case than I can conjecture from the reading of your timeline and such...

USCIS

NOA #2: Approval June 25th, 2009 - 92 days

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

just comply with the ones marked x. if youre in doubt, call NVC and ask the live operator. dont worry too much, youll do fine. good luck.

feb. 26,2008-----noa1

aug. 26, 2008----transferred to csc

sept. 19, 2008--- approved

NVC:

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Or would it be just a standard form that NVC uses to send our RFEs?

Our case is not that complicated. OUr first RFE was when we I first sent the DS230 before our AOS.

Then we received this long RFE list for my mom in law with only 5 [x] marks for I-864A errors. :wacko:

So I would appreciate it if you input a lot more positive thoughts bcos I believe all of us here would just want to get through in this process quick. :)

I did also call NVC to clarify this matter and yeah, they said just reply to the ones marked with X.

Thanks for the input guys.

Now, my mom in law sent back the corrected I-864A to the NVC and hopefully we'll be in good shape soon.
