I called the US embassy and they said I can already set an appointment date as soon as aug.27

Me and my fiance have waited for quite a long time to get approved by the VSC but GOd is so good! I will forever sing His praises. I am just so amazed by His power. God is truly so good.

we applied for the I-129f last march 2 and our NOA2 was july 27, 2009. NVC sent it to the embassy JULy 31. And the embassy received it aug.6 as there was the weekends and a national holiday. 

I finally called the US embassy after procrastinating because I was dependent on the fact that it takes a month or so to have the schedule for the interview. And I'm so surprised when the call center agent said i can schedule as soon as AUG.27, my boo's 23rd birthday. I haven't set it yet as I want to discuss it with my fiance first, and I need to consider the fact that I have to give at least a week before my interview to have my medical exam done. I am still just dumb founded in a way.

but, it made me realize God is so good, it is all in His time. When you just surrender everything to Him and let Him do all of it and stop worrying, you'll be amazed by the outcome. God is great and all praises, thanksgiving and glory belong only to Him.

Our case was processed at the embassy for just about 2 weeks! It was all too fast, heheh I was surprised when the girl on the phone said you are eligible to set yoru interview date lol and I just called in to ask about our case

I realized though that I still need to wait for my passport as I renewed it 2 weeks ago. Luckily, I renewed it asap when I learned the embassy has our case already as I found out about the need for the renewal a few days just before that.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

because that is the only number i have of the embassy hehe

Such good news Odessa! Very happy everything is going so well for you! You'll be together before you know it :P

yeah.. i am soo very very excited! it's all too good.. we will have to discuss though about the meeting up details as I dont know when I'd fly back here in teh philippines so I may stay a little bit longer even when I would already have the visa.. I am so going to miss my neices and nephews T_T

why not have your fiancee call the USEm instead because it'll be expensive for you. i only talked to the lady about 3 minutes tops earlier, already gave her my info so when i call back there'll be less talk time. it only costs about Php55 per minute; i only need to call them 2x, it would've just been once but im unsure of my interview date yet as my passport is not with me. :) hope that helps!

oh and by the way, she can only get thru a PLDT or smart landline;

i just foudn out my passport wasnt released yet as there was a delay from Manila..so, I guess I will really just wait for when i can have it in my possession then ill call the embassy :)
