HEY!!!

I could have posted this is in the China section...but....this applies to many.

My wife got PINK....yes . . . I am totally pleased.

First she did it and got her CR1….and it could have been a K3..I had a lawyer and what good was that. Well maybe he ensured the papers were correct and mailed to the right place.

pushbrk thank you…I saw the CR1 only as a result of your relentless driving that point home.

Second I brought her dog food. (“dog food” will pass the censor) You know…age difference, no common language, previous “baggage”. Only you will know you dog food! :thumbs:

And that brings me to this point. If you read these forums, then take the time to really read them. Check out the Wiki. READ for gods sake. If you think you got dog food then get busy. Address the bona fide ness.

As for me I was able to add in some things to make no common language look better (took some classes and wrote in her language: nothing great but all the time). I added some other 'stuff' also. I’m just trying to say, whatever your red flag is put something together to make a sane person believe in your petition. Nothing personal about this. Nothing is perfect, but if it looks and smells like dog food...eeeh hemmmm that's the clue!!

From my wife (minimal edit after Google translate):

i am waiting for my wife to let me know if she got the pink

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

09-22-2014 - NOA letter scheduled interview 10-30-2014

10-30-2014 - Naturalization interview and test Columbus Ohio office.

Application changed to five year as mark reached while waiting for interview

Passed civic test and interview recommends approval !!!

10-30-2014 - NOA hand letter stating recommendation for approval and wait for letter of approval and oath
11-13-2014 - Case Status updated "We scheduled your oath ceremony"

11-14-2014 - NOA letter final interview and oath Tuesday 11-25-2014

11-25-2014 - Final red tape and oath ceremony Columbus, Ohio Officially a US Citizen!!!

- Applied US Passport at local post office

08-2016 - Received 10 year Q2 visa to visit China as a US citizen

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

Interview Date : 12/9/2013, originally 12/3, stupid lawyer filled out her dad's passport number wrong..

Interview Passed : 12/9/2013

Visa "Issued" on CEAC : 12/10/2013
