I-130 case update on USCIS website

Hi I was reading the "last update" status on my account for I-130. Does anyone know what does this mean or how far has the case reached? I don't understand what does the word "here" in this paragraph mean.

This is what it says:

""On July 10, 2006, your I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. ""

Even though the application was mailed in April and I got a reciept notice on April 10th.

Which service center did you file with?

I filed at Vermont SC since I'm in NJ.

If you have a look in this forum there are threads re the transfer of I-130's from VSC to CSC. Perhaps this is the case here as well.

Vermont has new dates up to 5 February 06

All Right !!! Finally moving...Thanks for your help. I'm sure, more questions to follow soon :)

This sucks b/c they just transfered me to CSC. Each step forwrd is at least 5 ateps back for me. :angry:

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

Hi, sorry to hear that. How do you know if you've been transferred to CSC? Does it tell you that on the case update website or do you get a letter in mail?

It's probably from the CSC. Ours was transferred from VSC to CSC on July 6, and I got the same statement you did on 7/10.

I got double emails and the case on the USCIS.gov site changed to tell me that the case has been sent there.

I wouldn't put a whole lot on the processing time dates, except as a sign as to when you can call to complain.

Our I 130 was accepted at the CSC in early April and approved almost two weeks ago when they were supposedly still stuck in December. I can't promise you anything, but there is hope for approval ahead of those dates.
